There are various on-line resources available for enhancing your learning of landscape plants (more may be added as the quarter progresses). Connect to each of the sites through the links below:

These are the same slides shown during lecture presentations; they may help you review the plants for general identification purposes. The ones without written comments have only the images with individual captions. The ones with written comments provide some general information on the image displayed.

• A searchable database of landscape plant images (some containing extensive text as well).

This database, the Plants of Horticulture, is organized around digital images of the plants you'll learn during the course. You can search by name, family, or category. You should use this database for study and review. A powerful feature of this site is its direct tie to the Factsheet Database, a source of vast amounts of on-line information about plants and horticulture. With a single click of the mouse you can search the database for additional information on any plant you are studying.

• A collection of lecture notes and other learning resources.

These are notes of material presented in lecture as well as additional information that you will find useful.

• A Sample Exam from a previous quarter

The questions shown are meant only as a guide for the general style and flavor of the exams; details will vary for the exams given in class.
