Prevention of soil compaction
Techniques to reduce or alleviate compaction:
a. Cultivating the soil (when dry or lightly moist)
c. Scheduling work when soil is moderately dry and less susceptible to compaction.
d. Reducing traffic on the site to the extent that is possible.
e. Using coarse mulches to protect the soil. Weight is spread over more area.
