Adjustment of pH.
To increases soil pH: add ground limestone.
To decrease soil pH: add sulfur.
Soil tests are necessary to determine soil pH and to determine how much sulfur or limestone is needed to adjust the pH to the desired level.
Chemical adjustment of soil pH is TEMPORARY... Expect reversion to pH of parental material
