Plant Dictionary has been developed to provide high school and
higher education horticulture teachers with free-access resource materials
that utilize computer-based delivery systems across all operating system
platforms.
The information has been structured to provide basic horticulture concepts
in plant biology, propagation, nutrition, plant materials, and historical
development. Plant Dictionary is primarily an imaged-based resource
with supporting teaching materials organized under labs and test questions.
Plant Dictionary is not a textbook duplicated on the World Wide
Web. One of its primary objectives is to provide teachers with resource
materials that can be adapted to a wide-range of applications within the
structure of the teacher's course development: classroom lectures, laboratory
recitations, self-paced tutorials, etc.
