The map above comes from the Gardenvisit.com website and shows the location of many of the major gardens and estate and castle gardens of Ireland. The Garden Visit site has an alphabetic index for locating the gardens. Costs of admission, hours of operation, and location information is provided. For some of the gardens photos are provided and links to websites are given.

In July, 2000, Sister Ruth Schirtzinger and her fellow Columbus resident relatives Joey and Chrissy Holbrook traveled to Ireland for a two week vacation. They have kindly shared with the Irish Greens students some of their vacation pictures. Their excellent photos will give a sample of some of the garden attractions in Ireland.
