| The workshop building provides ample space for various types of indoor manipulation of hardscapes (above). There is a ready supply of appropriate tools for working in garden construction and maintenance (below). | |

The workshop has a wide collection of hand-operated and motorized tools and equipment for use in all facets of landscape manipulation. These include measuring instruments, assorted hammers, shovels, rakes, spades, picks, levelers, cement mixers, stone cutters, saws, etc, etc. |
|

Many samples of a wide array of hardscape materials is kept for demonstration and for use (above right). There is a workshop for metal work that can be used by students in the Study Abroad program in, for example, the design and construction of a water fountain (right). The building permits work on landscape projects during the entire year, come rain or shine. |
