Fitzherbert Brockholes Bldg: The Reception, Library, and Computer Center

This building houses the main Reception, Library, Computer Center and other offices and services at Myerscough.

Above: viewed from the main entrance to the College, this modern building offers excellent facilities for student work in the library (ground floor) and in the computer center (first floor)

Below: the building was inaugurated by The Queen in 1998. The landscaping around the building was designed by John Smyth and the installation was accomplished by students at the college.

A major hub of activity for the college, the main reception area is often the first point of contact for visitors to the college. Students in the Study Abroad program became very familiar with these revolving doors as they led to the often-used library and computer room for connecting with the Internet and keeping in touch with friends and relatives through e-mail.

If you walk through the revolving doors, you will find your way to the Library and to the Computer Center.
